Addison's voice expressed desperation that went beyond simple worry about a stolen car. Uncertain of how to describe the enigmatic critter he had saved, he gently avoided mentioning the "important something" in his car explicitly. Responding professionally, the cops deleted all pertinent information about his car including make, model, colour, number plate number. They vowed to give his case top attention and claimed to understand his extraordinary degree of concern. Their quick reply helped somewhat, but Addison realised that time was of the essence for the welfare of his strange guest as well as for reclaiming his car.
