A small bundle of fur is curled up on a red blanket in a sunlit living room's cosy corner. Mittens is the burrito cat, a comfort aficionado and master of self-swaddling.
Jessica, Mittens' owner, laid a blanket out on the couch and first saw her cat's ability for self-wrapping. When she got back, she saw Mittens, painstakingly folded over his nose and tightly nestled into a burrito-like form.
Jessica realized she possessed a unique cat that day on. Mittens' love of all things snug and feline inventiveness are demonstrated by his ability to turn himself into a tortilla.
Although Jessica has tried to film Mittens' burrito-making abilities, he is usually too fast for her. Mittens seems to have a hidden technique, a feline origami method handed down through burrito cat generations. Though Jessica tries unsuccessfully to record the process, she treasures these moments of feline inspiration and usually finds herself grinning at the sight of her precisely wrapped kitty. Mittens' tortilla makeovers have become a daily delight and amazement in their house, reminding Jessica of the basic pleasures that make life with a cat so joyful.
