Neapolitan Mastiffs are renowned for their drooping appearance, as though their skin were five times too large for them. They are practically as prehistoric as they look since their roots run back to ancient Rome. These dogs are perfect snuggling friends for everyone because of their soft, naive attitude under their strong, austere look. Among the biggest dog breeds, these gigantic dogs can weigh up to 150 pounds and tower 24 to 31 inches tall. Their jowly face and loose, wrinkled skin—which provided cover in ancient war arenas—defines them most. Neapolitan Mastiffs are renowned for their kind and loving demeanour with family members despite their frightening weight and looks. Though they hardly show hostility without cause, they are inherently protective and great protectors. Their short, dense coat is black, blue, mahogany, and tawny among other hues. Although they can be obstinct, early socialising and regular, positive training techniques help them.
