A family of rabbits produced a wonderful scene of natural beauty deep beneath their earthen refuge. With her kind demeanor and protective instincts, the mother rabbit kept constant attention over her valuable family. Each no more than a handful of cotton fluff, her brood of newborn bunnies slept blissfully in their warm nest, their small bodies rising and falling with perfect synchronisation.
The least of the lot, a particularly daring spirit, turned out to be the unanticipated star in this woodland play. Though inadvertent, his unexpected fall from the nest started an extraordinary mini-adventure. Eyes hardly open and ears still curled, this small adventurer made his first wobbly steps into the unknown world outside the nest. Every wary hop revealed novel discoveries: the earthy aroma of their burrow, the texture of fresh hay between his paws, and the enigmatic shadows created by stones and roots.
